Working Principle

Handheld Digital Free Chlorine Meter adopts the three-electrode measurement principle. The constant voltage electrode is used to measure free chlorine content in water. The constant voltage measurement method is to maintain a stable potential at the electrode measurement end. Different components to be measured produce different current intensities under this potential. It consists of two platinum electrodes and a reference electrode to form a microcurrent measurement system. By measuring the current change caused by the change in hypochlorous acid concentration, the hypochlorous acid content in the water is obtained through accurate calculation. Therefore, the change of free chlorine in the water can be effectively judged.

Three Mode Settings

Measurement Mode: Press the power button, and after the self-test LCD is fully displayed, it will enter the measurement mode. Calibration Mode: In measurement state, press the “CAL” key to enter calibration mode. Setting Mode: In the measurement state, press the “SET” key to enter the setting mode

Only One Battery Required

Only one 1.5v AAA battery is needed for long-term use. When the battery is low, a low battery reminder will appear on the top of the screen. The battery can be replaced easily by unscrewing the screw cap.
