Measurement Principle

When measuring surface roughness of workpiece, the pickup is placed on the surface of the part and then tracing the surface at constant rate. The pickup acquires the surface roughness by the sharp stylus in pickup. The roughness causes displacement of pickup which results in change of inductive value of induction coils thus generate analogue signal which is in proportion to surface roughness at output end of phase-sensitive rectifier. This signal enters data collection system after amplification and level conversion. After that, those collected data are processed with digital filtering and parameter calculation by ARM processor and the measuring result can be read on OLED.

How to Use

When installing, hold the main part of the sensor with your hand, insert the sensor into the sensor connection sleeve at the bottom of the instrument as shown in the figure below, and then gently push it to the bottom. When disassembling, hold the main part of the sensor or the root of the protective sleeve with your hand and slowly pull it out.

Daily Maintenance

**Main Unit

• Keep the surface of the main unit clean and remove dust with a soft dry cloth regularly
• This instrument is a precision measuring instrument and should always be handled with care to avoid vibration

**Sensor

• After completing the measurement, please put the sensor into the packaging box in time.
•  Please always pay attention to protecting the probe part of the sensor.

**Battery

•  Always observe the battery indicator. When low voltage appears, please charge it in time
• The charging time is about three hours. Try not to charge for a long time
