How to Use

• Place probe 5cm above the penultimate to third nipple on sow’s upper part.

• Adjust probe towards cervical spine at a 45° angle.

• For primiparous and early gestation sows, measure between first one or two nipples.

• Postpartum sows in late gestation have uterus closer to abdominal wall, measure accordingly.

• Test accuracy: Perform 18 days after mating, repeat at 30 days.

• Test duration: Not to exceed 60 days post-mating.
